Started in 1963, On Hing is truly a well-established name in the noodles industry. It started with ‘Hor Fun’ (also called ‘Kuay Teow’) manufacturing initially, and added vermicelli manufacturing to the line-up in line with changes in market needs.
In those days, vermicelli was crudely made with manual labor. Subsequently, in order to achieve a more stable quality and increase production, we took the lead in innovation in 1981 and purchased a set of semi-automatic machinery, creating a new milestone of semi-automatic production.*
Semi-automatic production, which was an innovative technology in the early 1980’s, was an indicator of pioneering leadership in the industry. As the business grew, we gradually expanded from one to seven production lines.
Apart from expanding the production line, we also keep abreast with the times, constantly innovating and optimizing vermicelli production in order to improve and strengthen the stability and efficiency of production quality, achieving perfect production and making the most satisfactory vermicelli in the market.
*Starting from 1981, On Hing gave up other forms of rice noodles 'Kuay Teow' and specialized in vermicelli manufacturing.

On Hing was founded in 1963 in Kampung Koh, Sitiawan in Malaysia. The factory, run by a sound, modernized management structure, produces best-selling vermicelli loved by all Malaysians.
Our factory, occupying 11 acres of land, is extremely well-planned and well-equipped, with complete production equipment conforming fully to exhaustive environmental safety measures. The whole plant is divided into the production department, the drying department, the packaging department and the warehouse, with every employee performing a specific duty and working as a cohesive team.
Over the years, On Hing has been running a stable and profitable business, enjoying a steady market growth. Sales effort has been intensified in a step by step manner to expand coverage to the entire country. On Hing has carved a huge market share by focusing on target customers that include hypermarkets, department stores, all kinds of large and small supermarket chains, wholesalers and so on.
